Transparency

How Secure Insurance makes money.

We aim to be clear and straightforward: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and buy a policy, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.

  • ✔ No extra cost to you
  • ✔ We disclose affiliate links
  • ✔ You should compare like-for-like

The simple explanation

In plain English, here’s how it works.

1) You visit Secure Insurance

We publish guides, checklists and provider profiles to help you understand options and compare policies.

2) You click a link to a provider or partner

Some outbound links (e.g., “Get quote” / “Start comparison”) take you to a provider or comparison partner. These may be affiliate links.

3) If you buy, we may earn a commission

If you choose a product through an affiliate link, we may receive a commission from the provider/partner. You typically pay the same price you would have paid anyway.

4) We keep the site running

Commissions help pay for content creation, tools, hosting and ongoing improvements.

Where you’ll see disclosures

We try to make this obvious, not hidden.

Quote hubs

Our quote pages include a disclosure section and “sponsored” link attributes on outbound buttons.

Footer disclosure

Many pages also include a short disclosure in the footer. (We’re standardising this across the site next.)

Independence and “Top Picks”

How we try to keep recommendations responsible and useful.

We focus on structure, not “best price” claims

Insurance pricing is personal. We do not claim a provider is “cheapest”. Instead, we provide checklists and comparison structure to help you decide.

Top Picks are starting points

Top Picks are there to help you start comparing quickly. You should still compare terms, exclusions, limits and excess.

We aim for clarity

We try to explain key terms in simple language. If something is complex, we say so.

Editorial policy (coming next)

We’re creating a dedicated Editorial Policy page to describe how we select and maintain content.

Important note

A quick reminder about responsibility and checking details.

Secure Insurance is an information and comparison-support site. We are not an insurer and we do not provide personalised financial advice. Always check the provider’s website for the latest terms, eligibility, exclusions and pricing before you buy.

If you’d like, we can add a dedicated Disclaimer page next and link it site-wide.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you choose a provider or partner through a link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Always check the provider’s website for the latest terms and product details.
